According to him, not one pin from his houses was recovered, everything was lost to the force of the impact and the inferno afterwards. But the pastor is grateful for life.
“The only things I have left are the things I went to church with,” he said.
He listed his losses to include a six-bedroom duplex, a bungalow, two warehouses within the compound, four fish ponds, a jeep, machines for furniture work and educational material. Omowunmi, whose property was not insured, said he had moved his family to his church in Otta, to stay.
He said he would “allow the law to take its course,” when asked if he would sue Dana for damages caused to his properties.
