Jay z joins will smith in filmmaking Posted: 27 Jan 2011 05:14 AM PST will smith and Jay z Super rapper Jay Z has teamed up with Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett to do business in movies.  Jay-Z has joined the Hollywood couple's production company Overbook Entertainment to develop and produce movies, with the first one being a remake of "Annie", which will star Will and Jada's 10-year-old daughter Willow. "The Overbrook Entertainment family and I have a unified vision. We've already produced a Tony Award-winning play and we're developing a true superstar in Willow. This venture into film development and production is a perfect next step with teams that are accomplished, creative, and innovative," Jay z explains The trio, who teamed up last year to bring hit musical "Fela!" to the Broadway stage, will co-produce the film.

ID Cabasa, Toni Payne Shuns 9ice Birthday

9ice recently celebrated his 31st birthday party at the famous swe bar lagos and alot of his industry friends and producer of his monster hit song "Gongo Aso" ID Cabasa were missing from the occasion. One would recall that after the hugely successfully Gongo Aso album, which was master minded by ID cabasa, 9ice has failed to impress fans and critics with his musical products, the closest he came was with "Gbamu Gbamu" one of the singles (produced by ID Cabasa) off his recent "Tradition" album.

9ice has also decided to shut down his facebook fan page that has gathered over 3,000,000 Fans (thats alot more than president Goodluck Jonathan) without any notice to his fans. To me, that is very rude for people to take their time and subscribe to your fan page and then you decide to shut it off simply because you are a superstar. that is simply wrong Mr. 9ice. Anyway he already called his fans motherf**kers during the leaked phone conversation with ruggedman.
