Former Nigerian striker Rashidi Yekini is dead. Rashidi who played for super eagles of Nigerian within early and late 90s died on May 4,2012 in kwara state.He was 48.Rashidi was born october 23, 1963 in kaduna.He scored Nigeria's first goal in a FIFA world cup and won African footballer of the year title in 1993 .
He scored 37 goals in 58 appearances for Nigeria.Rashidi had been reportedly sick for a while.
